Said to be the most innovative cookery school it offers practical hands-on cookery classes and cooking lessons that are intimate, fun, interactive and informative and suit all abilities.

Cooking lessons are delivered with the best produce, mostly sourced from local suppliers in the area. Cooking classes are small to achieve maximum one to one tutoring from the highly experienced chefs. You will have plenty of time to ask all those questions you have always wanted to!

Hilde-Marie Smith

Most of the cooking classes and the chef academy are delivered by the owner of the business Hilde-Marie Smith. Hilde-Marie has over 20 years extensive training and experience in the hospitality trade.

Food is my passion and I enjoy passing it on others so much I do not feel like I am at work delivering cookery lessons, I feel as if I am cooking with friends.

Catering for Kent aims to offer a cookery school that arms you with confidence and know-how.

During the 3 hour cooking class you will make a variety of dishes alongside you class mates. You will even get to enjoy your creations at the end of your cookery lesson.

Children's Chef Academy and Cookery Classes

All staff are CRB Checked and a copy of liability insurance is available on request.

Catering for Kent offers interactive children's cookery lessons and children's cooking parties.

Why not try out our Chef Academy Children's Birthday Party where your child gets to cook their own lunch or dinner? It's a great way to combine a fun cooking lesson for the birthday boy or girl enjoyed by all their friends.

Often children who are usually fussy eaters are more likely to enjoy food they have prepared. Numbers are kept to a maximum of 8 children per party (ages 6-12).

Children's cooking lessons start from £25.00 per child.

Children's cooking parties and cupcake parties start from £15 per child with a minimum of 6 children.
